Each product page features a comprehensive size guide. For mouthguards, we offer specific sizes for youth (ages 10 and under) and adults (ages 11+). For braces and sleeves, please measure the circumference of the joint as indicated in our sizing charts to ensure a secure fit.
What is the 'Dental Warranty' and how does it work?
Most Shock Doctor mouthguards include a limited dental warranty that covers dental repairs for teeth injured while wearing our product. To be eligible, you must register your product on our website within 30 days of purchase and follow all fitting instructions precisely.
How long does shipping take and what are the costs?
We offer standard shipping (5-7 business days) and expedited options. Orders over $50 qualify for free standard shipping within the continental United States. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
What is your return policy for protective equipment?
We accept returns of unused, unopened items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. For hygiene and safety reasons, mouthguards that have been boiled or fitted, and compression shorts without tags, cannot be returned.
Can I wear a Shock Doctor mouthguard with braces?
Yes, we offer a specific line of 'Braces' mouthguards designed with a unique integrated channel to fit over orthodontic brackets. These models do not require boiling and are designed to adapt as your teeth move during treatment.
How should I clean and maintain my Shock Doctor gear?
Mouthguards should be rinsed with cold water or an anti-bacterial mouthwash after every use. For supports and apparel, we recommend hand washing in cold water with mild detergent and air drying to preserve the integrity of the technical fabrics and Velcro straps.
